Two Tomatoes

Here is the first small painting (6 x 8) that I painted after switching to Rembrandt oils.  I think that the paint goes on much smoother and I am happier with the strength of the color.  I am not as happy with the fact that I used a verbena flower to paint and it wilted so quickly, I had to paint it out.  Good to know that painting verbena is not an option unless it is plein aire and still attached.
